Overview (Japanese only)

Information

To be released in January 2025

This device is for industrial use, not for clinical measurement.

Feature

Contactless quick measurement of surface temperature is sanitary and safe even in high temperature, high altitude, and for dangerous objects.

A circular laser marker helps you specify the measuring spot at a glance.

Emissivity is selectable from 0.95, 0.70, and 0.30. Configuration of appropriate emissivity is essential in accurate measurement.

LCD backlight improves readability in a dark place.

Automatic power-off and hold functions

The indication is frozen for 15 seconds with a sign of "HOLD" on the display after releasing the trigger, then the power turns off automatically.

Maximum temperature during the measurement is also indicated.

It is initialized when the trigger is pulled.

Certified for PSC, a standard based on Japan's Consumer Product Safety Act, as a class II portable laser device.

Description

What is the distance-to-spot ratio?

As for SK-8750, a distance-to-spot ratio, which is the ratio of the Distance between the object and the thermometer to the size of the Spot, is 12:1.

For example, if the distance is 600 mm, a spot circle of diameter 50 mm can be measured. Make sure that the object is larger than the circle.

The spot circle is defined as an area to receive 90% of the emitted energy from the object.

Positional relation between the actual measured area and the laser marker circle

SK-8750 emits a circular laser marker.

The laser circle and the real measuring spot area fully overlap when the measurement distance is 2000 mm.

Warning: Do not look into the laser marker source or point it on eyes as it may damage eyes.

SK-8750 conforms to the Class II in the Standard for Safe Use of Laser Products (JIS C6802) which is defined as follows: A visible light (wavelength between 400 and 700 nm) with an output level less than 1 mW that a human's protective response can resist.

PSC mark is labeled on the device to prove its quality based on Japan's Consumer Product Safety Act.
